![]() ![]() Why in the world would you try to implement your own browser instead of using Chrome?!? And it's clear that these default browsers are not able to keep up with the rest of the industry. Each Android device can have a different browser that is not Chrome. I thought that the default browser was Chrome, but that is not the case. Being an Apple fanboy, I wasn't aware of the nuances going on in the Android space. After talking to some colleagues of mine, I was filled in on the Android browser landscape. Even IE 10 supports the icon set naming! So clearly the default browser on the Samsung device in question is about 5 years behind in it's feature set. As it turns out, the name conventions used by the icons doesn't render probably on the Note. One of our teammates has a Samsung Galaxy Note. Since I'm developing on a Mac, my teammates are testing it on IE with their Windows machines. I've tested it using the mobile emulators in Chrome as well as in the desktop versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. ![]() ![]() Pretty robust icon set that is openly available to use.
